A look inside our spray booth

Whether it is small or large generators and whether it is small or large numbers, it is no problem for our colleagues Melvin and Gene on location in Rotterdam.

We’d like to tell you a little more about two special jobs we recently completed in our spray booth.

2-component task

With our special generators spray booth we can paint both single pieces and complete series in the colors of your company, ship or other desired color scheme. Even if no RAL number is available, we can mix the right color for you with a sample in consultation with our paint supplier. Because the environment is very important to Caldic Techniek, we only work with water-based paint. For example, we recently painted generators for our one of our customers in a 2-component color scheme of metallic and water-based paint. Due to the number of generators and the necessary time between spraying the two components, this job presented a nice logistical challenge! Our team in the workshop gained another valuable experience after this job.

Customized Generators

Standard generators are delivered in a basic primer RAL7030. For this project, the customer wanted the color RAL5012 semi gloss, and in this case we specially sprayed the flange edge on the front because they do not use flanges.

A nice example of customization from our paint shop, because normally the flange edge remains unsprayed because it is a fitting surface.
