Timing belt drives for positioning

In addition to wear resistance, long life and low maintenance costs, there are a number of specific properties that make timing belts and pulleys suitable for use in systems where very precise positioning is important. Timing belt pulleys with 0-play

Because we can produce very precise pulleys with so-called zero-play(suitable for T and AT profile), no more play occurs between the belt and the pulley when the timing belt moves back and forth. As a result, the timing belt maintains a very precise position time after time.

Endless spooled timing belts with minimal elongation

For a timing belt drive with accurate positioning, stretching of the timing belt is not desirable. Therefore, we have a wide range of timing belts with tensioning cords and reinforcements that minimize timing belt elongation.

Open end timing belts

In applications where we are dealing with back and forth movements that need to be precise, an open end or finite tooth belt is a good solution. These are available in both Polyurethane and rubber varieties. The belts are usually made endless by means of a clamping plate, where the clamping plate serves to attach the further construction or, for example, the gantry. Examples of such belts are the PU Megalinear (Megadyne) and PU Elatech M and the rubber variant of Megadyne. Depending on the precision required, this belt can also be endlessly welded

Toothed belt pulleys and belts with Easydrive

The Easy Drive ring eliminates the need for other belt steering solutions such as flanges, steering strings and special tooth profiles. Easy Drive technology can be applied to virtually any tooth shape, and the Easy Drive ring works with pulleys made of the materials steel, aluminum, cast iron and plastic. In terms of timing belts, Easy Drive is compatible with all polyurethane (PU) and rubber belts.

Eagle gears

The Eagle profile has some very specific advantages. In addition to a much quieter engagement, the Eagle profile delivers higher standard accuracy thanks to its unique tooth shape, referred to as HOT (Helical offset toothing). Thanks to this tooth shape, the belt itself is conductive and therefore flanges are not required. The belt is also an energy-saving design thanks to its high efficiency.
