For example, we reuse all packaging materials that enter our warehouse, we generate our own electricity with solar panels, and we work with our partners to make production processes and transport lines cleaner and more efficient. We are also committed to a healthy working and living environment for our employees.

The health and safety of our employees are of utmost importance. Therefore, we have implemented a program to ensure a healthy and safe work environment. With the Safety program, we ensure that we continuously comply with all regulations and standards and work to responsibly drive performance improvements.

Naturally, at Caldic Techniek we also attach great importance to ensuring the quality of our products and services. Our QMS meets internationally recognized ISO standards, such as ISO 9001 and ISO 14001. In addition to the QMS, we at Caldic Techniek also have a QHSE reporting system. Besides health and safety issues we use this to identify product and process related problems. These systems help us maintain continuous insight into our processes and improve ourselves wherever possible.

EcoVadis is a globally recognized assessment platform that evaluates organizations on their performance in the areas of sustainability and corporate social responsibility (CSR). Currently, more than 100,000 companies worldwide are assessed using an objective methodology based on international guidelines such as the UN Global Compact, ISO 26000, and the Global Reporting Initiative (GRI).

The assessment goes beyond a mere policy review. EcoVadis analyzes, among other things, policies, concrete measures, measurable results, and the extent to which sustainability is structurally integrated into the organization and supply chain.

For our customers in generator manufacturing, power generation, drive technology, and industrial applications, this independent assessment provides transparent confirmation that we have fully embedded sustainability and compliance into our processes. This supports you in achieving your own ESG goals and meeting international procurement requirements.

EcoVadis evaluates organizations based on four fundamental pillars

1. Environment

This pillar focuses on the organization’s impact on the environment.
Examples include

• CO₂ reduction and energy efficiency
• Waste management and responsible use of raw materials

2. Labor & Human Rights

This pillar examines working conditions, safety, and compliance with human rights within both our own organization and the supply chain.

As a technical organization with specialized knowledge, we actively invest in sustainable employability and safe working conditions for our employees.

3. Ethics

The Ethics pillar assesses the extent to which an organization operates with integrity and transparency.

• Anti-corruption and anti-bribery policies
• Protection of confidential business and customer information

For us, this means clear codes of conduct, transparent decision-making, and reliable collaboration with customers and suppliers.

4. Sustainable Procurement

This pillar focuses on responsible supply chain management.
Examples

• Selection and evaluation of suppliers based on ESG criteria
• Integration of sustainability standards into procurement processes

EcoVadis awards four medals based on an organization’s global percentile ranking:

• Platinum – Top 1% (99+ percentile)
• Gold – Top 5% (95+ percentile)
• Silver – Top 15% (85+ percentile)
• Bronze – Top 35% (65+ percentile)

The ranking is relative: organizations are compared to all assessed companies within their sector worldwide. This makes the score a powerful and internationally recognized benchmark.

The Platinum classification means that an organization ranks among the top 1% of all assessed companies worldwide. This confirms that sustainability is not a one-off effort, but is structurally integrated into policy, procedures, risk management, and supply chain collaboration.
