Meet our new force within the Energytechnology Department

Since January 2025, I have been working at Caldic Techniek as a Sales Engineer in the Energytechnology Department. In this position I advise customers in choosing the right generators and components to suit their application. I also prepare technical and financial quotations. My role is very varied and requires both technical knowledge and good customer insight.

I work primarily with customers from the maritime sector. Often these are shipping companies with multiple ships, which are heavily dependent on a fast delivery of parts – preferably directly from stock. The challenge is that customers often aren’t able to provide the technical details. That’s when it’s up to me to keep asking questions, analyzing their situation, and offering specific advice.

What do I enjoy most about my work? Without a doubt, it’s finding productive solutions. No two customer requests are alike, which keeps my work stimulating. I gain energy from exploring the markets our customers operate in. That insight helps me continuously refine my approach and develop more effective sales strategies.

In my first few months, the focus was on learning new systems, gaining product knowledge and getting used to my new work environment. Then I delved further into generator technology and calculating functional electrical parameters. This technical depth gives me great satisfaction and shows that I can really grow here.

What makes working at Caldic Techniek worthwhile for me is the atmosphere. It is special how here a flat structure is combined with minimal bureaucracy, while the mutual cooperation is very strong. Especially within the Energytechnology team, the working atmosphere is pleasant and calm – that makes every working day enjoyable.
