As a Sales Support Employee for our Energy Technology department, your technical background and commercial attitude will be very useful. You are the first point of contact for our clients, including (ship) installers, generator set builders, truck and reefer builders, shipyards and shipping companies. You speak to (potential) customers and you independently supervise quotation processes and order and delivery processes.
Within the Energy Engineering department of Caldic Techniek generators (STAMFORD and AvK) and generator controls and power management systems (DEIF) are the most important products. With your technical background and customer-oriented attitude you will help our customers to find the right products and implement them appropriately.

What we are looking for
For this position, we are looking for an experienced inside sales support employee with good communication skills, a technical background and commercial understanding. We are looking for an energetic, inquisitive and result-oriented person with strong organizational skills who can take responsibility for the inside sales department.
Job requirements
- customer and result oriented, good communication and social skills;
- MBO+ education, preferably electrical engineering;
- good command of the Dutch and English languages, both verbally and in writing;
- ability to work well in a small team, but also independently;
- ability to structure and prioritize.
Furthermore, you preferably have
- at least three years of relevant work experience;
- experience with Microsoft Dynamics CRM and Microsoft AX;
- broad technical interest;
- experience with generators, generator controls and PLCs.
